In a recent interview with Josh Horowitz's Personal Space, Jada Pinkett Smith revealed more about her relationship with Tupac.
Jada said she got the role in Menace II Society thanks to Tupac. Pac apparently told the Hughes Brother's to hire Jada for her role in the film.
“I got ‘Menace II Society’ through Tupac,” she said. “Tupac was part of ‘Menace II Society’ first, and he was the one that put me on. He was the one that called the Hughes brothers and was like, ‘You got to meet my homegirl Jada’ and he called me and said ‘I’m part of this movie. I think you’d be great for this role.'”
Ultimately as you may know Pac was fired from the film due to creative differences with the Hughes Bros.
“There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think about Pac,” Jadda added. “I think about him every single day.”
