Katy Perry released the much-anticipated music video for her latest single, Chained to the Rhythm, early Tuesday morning.
The song -- featuring Skip Marley -- is admittedly a commentary on the current state of [political] affairs. KP was a very vocal supporter of Hillary Clinton, and is one of the most famous pop-stars to take part in the "resistance."

Cannot believe we're living in an era where @katyperry's disco pop jams double as critically relevant political discourse— tyler breitfeller ✨ (@tbreitfeller) February 10, 2017
Love that @katyperry just invented woke-pop as a genre— Jason Lipshutz (@jasonlipshutz) February 10, 2017
