Beyoncé was slated to headline Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April, but recently bowed out due to the fact that she's pregnant with twins.
[Her doctor advised that she keep a less rigorous schedule.]
While her reason for canceling the performance was completely understandable, fans immediately wondered who could possibly replace the ***FLAWLESS songstress.
A popular choice was Mother Monster, Lady Gaga.
If Beyoncé did have to cancel her Coachella performance, Gaga would be the only replacement for me to keep my ticket.— BNB (@JoshFred101) February 2, 2017
Beyoncé backed out of Coachella..... does this mean Gaga will come to the rescue ... ?🙌🏼🙏🏼— Amymarie Gaertner (@amymarieg) February 23, 2017
As of Tuesday, the mystery has officially been solved!

Lady Gaga is at Coachella this year. Now I'm even more jealous of people who are going— Sophie Turner (@sophieturner_) March 1, 2017
Also, if you're still a bit sad about Beyoncé dropping out, don't worry -- she confirmed via a joint statement [with Parkwood Entertainment & the event's producer, Goldenvoice] that she will headline the festival in 2018.
"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival," the statement said. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for understanding."
