Beyoncé was slated to headline Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival this April, but recently bowed out due to the fact that she's pregnant with twins.
[Her doctor advised that she keep a less rigorous schedule.]
While her reason for canceling the performance was completely understandable, fans immediately wondered who could possibly replace the ***FLAWLESS songstress.
A popular choice was Mother Monster, Lady Gaga.
As of Tuesday, the mystery has officially been solved!
Lady Gaga -- who just slayed the Super Bowl half-time show -- confirmed via Twitter that she will be taking over for Queen B!
Also, if you're still a bit sad about Beyoncé dropping out, don't worry -- she confirmed via a joint statement [with Parkwood Entertainment & the event's producer, Goldenvoice] that she will headline the festival in 2018.
"Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival," the statement said. However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for understanding."
