Prom season can be a bit stressful -- not only do you have to find the perfect attire, you also have to find a date.
One high school in Illinois has made it their tradition to take that anxiety completely out of the mix, by assigning prom dates through a lottery system.
Here’s how it works at Aquin High School: junior and senior boys pick girls’ names out of a hat, then the guys formally ask them out using creative skits.
“No matter who you get, you know you’re going to have a good time,” Senior Korey Korosec told a local TV station. “It doesn’t leave anybody out. Everybody’s welcome to join, and no one’s not going to have a date.”
Apparently AHS has been doing this since 1926.
What do you think about all of this?
