On Tuesday, Harper Design announced that they will be publishing a new picture book titled Santa's Husband, which depicts Saint Nick as a gay man in an interracial marriage.
The idea for the story came from a tweet sent out by Daniel Kibblesmith, writer for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and co-author of How to Win at Everything.
Santa's Husband will hit bookstores everywhere October 10.
Reactions to the announcement have been mixed.
