As a card-carrying member of the BeyHive, I'm totally freaking out right now.
According to Variety, Beyoncé is in talks to voice Nala in Disney's [upcoming] live-action remake of The Lion King.
Queen Bey is reportedly director Jon Favreau's "top choice" for the role -- and Disney is willing to do "whatever it takes" to accommodate her schedule and make it happen.
And just saying, while Beyoncé simply voicing Nala's dialogue is amazing, can you imagine how incredible the music/soundtrack is going to sound with her vocals?!
Other members of the cast have already been announced.
Simba will be played by Donald Glover -- and James Earl Jones has confirmed that he will return to reprise his role as Mufasa.
What do you think about all of this?!
