After revealing [on an episode of The View] that she's pro-choice, conservative commentator Tomi Lahren was banned from TheBlaze.
She has since filed a lawsuit against the network and her former boss, Glenn Beck, for wrongful termination -- claiming that they were orchestrating "a public smear campaign" against her".
Lahren spoke to ABC about the lawsuit on Wednesday, explaining that she had only filed it with the hope of moving on and working elsewhere.
According to The Cut, Tomi is seeking to terminate her contract with TheBlaze and maintain control of her Facebook page.
"To my former employer, I would just say: Let me go," she said. "Let's just part ways — cleanly. I just want work and have the freedom to put my voice out there. And I want to interact with my fans and my followers, that's all I want out of this."
Reactions to the news has been mixed. View some of them below.
Tomi Lahren is suing Glenn Beck because he smeared her over saying she was pro-choice. She is citing freedom of speech.— Frederick Douglass (@HITEXECUTIVE) April 7, 2017

The Blaze will lose the Tomi Lahren lawsuit. I read her legal docs and contract. Total joke. Beck has lost his mind.— Mike Cernovich 🇺🇸 (@Cernovich) April 8, 2017
@thehill Let's all in unison react to this story in the same way Tomi Lahren would have: "Oh boo hoo. Get over it snowflake and get a job."— PeanutButter&Jelly (@TaniaBaller) April 7, 2017
