After a million years and the sort-of-disbanding of One Direction, Harry Styles has finally shared his solo music with the world.
[No lie, I'm obsessed, and I didn't expect to be. I was only ever a fangirl for one boy-band/one frontman, and that was *NSYNC/Justin Timberlake.]
Anyway, most people tend to believe that Taylor Swift was the inspiration for the album -- but apparently, Kendall Jenner was Styles' real muse!
In a lengthy interview with Rolling Stone, Harry admitted that a recent relationship influenced the record (and everyone knows Kenny was one half of that coupling).
"She's a huge part of the album. I hope she knows it's just for her," he said.
Despite the major [and romantic] hint Styles dropped, Jenner maintained [in an interview with Harper's Bazaar] that she has no plans to speak out the same way.
"I think it's something sacred. It's something between two people, and nobody else's opinion needs to be involved in it. People want to start drama. If I had a boyfriend, people are going to say all this stuff that's probably going to cause us to break up," she said of relationships.
Kendall went on to say: "I'm not marrying anyone. I'm not engaged. There's nothing long-term or serious like that in my life. If I'm not fully, fully in it with someone, why would I make it public to everyone else? If I don't even know what it is, why would I let the world know?"
I'm basically getting the vibe that Harry loves Kendall but she's playing hard to get, so this album is one hell of a romantic gesture that aims to reel her in.
What do you think about all of this?
