House Majority Whip Steve Scalise is among those shot at a congressional baseball practice in Alexandra, VA Wednesday morning.
Police believe they have the shooter in custody, and are advising people to stay away from the area.
An apparent witness to the event, Benjamin Childers, said that he had three members of Congress take shelter in his apartment during the shooting, which went on for 10 minutes, sources say.
