Sophia is a humanoid robot that was created by Hong Kong based company, Hanson Robotics.
She was modeled using actress Audrey Hepburn as inspiration, and is the first robot to ever be granted actual citizenship somewhere [Saudi Arabia].
Sophia just appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon -- and she made a "joke" that has everyone a little nervous.
