Man Charged with Making Threat Against Mt. Juliet High School

18-year-old Joseph Taylor of Old Hickory was arrested Sunday night after making a threat against Mt. Juliet High School.

According to a police report, Taylor -- who is not a student at the school -- approached two people earlier that afternoon and warned them not to attend school on Monday, since he had just purchased a new gun. He was wearing some sort of gun around his neck at the time.

Detectives reportedly located Taylor and found a paintball gun in his possession.
Although police do not believe he had serious intent to do harm to anyone, Taylor was booked into the Wilson County jail and charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated assault.
