Under current TN law, grocery stores and alcohol retailers are not allowed to sell wine or liquor on Sundays. [They can't sell it on major holidays, either.]

A bill to change that is making its way through Tennessee legislature. If passed, the bill [sponsored by Rep. Gerald McCormick and Sen. Bill Ketron], would align hours of liquor and wine sales with beer sales.
