In celebration of International Women's Day, Barbie has launched its #MoreRoleModels campaign, which features more than a dozen new dolls modeled after history-making females.
"Girls need more role models. That’s why Barbie is committed to shining a light on empowering female role models in an effort to inspire more girls. Because believing they can be anything is just the beginning, actually seeing that they can makes all the difference," Barbie said in a YouTube video and its subsequent description.
The "Inspiring Women" dolls are made in the respective likenesses of Katherine Johnson, Frida Kahlo, and Amelia Earheart, to name a few.
There's also a "Shero" collection to celebrate modern-day-ceiling-shatterers, like ballerina Misty Copeland and Wonder Woman director director Patty Jenkins.
