It is estimated that 10,000-12,000 people gathered downtown last weekend for March For Our Lives Nashville, which was organized by Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School graduate Abigail Brafman (currently a student at Vanderbilt University).

The march came in response to the Valentine's Day mass shooting in Parkland that claimed the lives of 17 teachers and students, and included a speech from Mayor David Briley, voter registration, and a mile long walk through the city. If you weren't able to attend, keep scrolling to see photos and videos from the event!

Our very own Wells Adams was spotted along with Modern Family actress [and girlfriend], Sarah Hyland.

“Politicians who sit in their gilded House and Senate seats funded by the NRA telling us nothing could have been done to prevent this, we call BS. They say tougher gun laws do not decrease gun violence. We call BS!”-Emma Gonzalez. #emmagonzalez #commonsensegunlaws #marchforourlives #neveragain

To me, #marchforourlives wasn’t a “I want to take all your guns away” rally. It was “a bunch of kids got shot in school and as a society we are better than that and we should all work together to try and fix this” gathering.
