On Wednesday, Instagram announced the launch of a brand new app called IGTV, which will feature fullscreen, hour-long videos from whoever the eff you choose to follow.
There are four different categories for viewing content: For You, Following, Popular, & Continue Watching.
There are a couple of ways to access IGTV:
1. Once you update Instagram via the App Store, there should be a little television icon in the upper right hand corner, next to the DM button.
2. You can just straight up download IGTV via the App Store.
"When you follow a creator on Instagram, their IGTV channel will show up for you to watch. Anyone can be a creator — you can upload your own IGTV videos in the app or on the web to start your own channel," Instagram co-founder and CEO Kevin Systrom said via a press release.
[It should be noted, though, that only those creators with at least 10,000 followers will be able to post hour-long videos. Those with less than 10,000 followers will be able to share content that is up to 10 minutes long.]
