Lots of Swifties are hoping that someone pulls a Kanye [so ironic] at the MTV Video Music Awards in August, as Taylor Swift did not receive a Video of the Year nomination for the iconic Look What You Made Me Do.
LWYMMD actually made its debut at last year's VMAs, and broke the record for most YouTube global streams in 24 hours [43.2 million views] -- so the fact that it somehow wasn't nominated for VOTY is more than a little surprising.
The video did receive three technical nominations, though -- it's up for best art direction, best visual effects and best editing. [Well deserved, obviously, but they're not enough to make up for the obvious injustice here.]
No word from the snake queen herself, at this point [and I'm sure she'll maintain her silence]. What are your thoughts on all this?!
