The Seemingly 'Random' Shootings in East Nashville Might Be Connected


East Nashville has been plagued by gun violence in recent weeks --and some are concerned that the series of seemingly random shootings might actually be connected

The latest incident took place early Friday morning. Police were called to The Cobra on Gallatin Avenue at 3:30 a.m., after a woman was killed and one man was critically injured in what is believed to be a robbery attempt. Metro police described the suspects as fleeing the scene in a dark sedan -- which is a common denominator with other recent shootings. More details below.
