Wow, my eyes are leaking.
A kindergarten class at Hickerson Elementary in Tullahoma, Tennessee just had the sweetest surprise for their beloved custodian of 15 years, Mr. James, who is hearing impaired. Assistant Principal Kathy Crabtree told news outlets that while he can be difficult to understand, the children love him and consider him a friend.
To show their appreciation and celebrate his birthday on Tuesday, teachers [Ms. Amy Hershman and Ms. Allyssa Hartsfield] taught their students how to sign 'Happy Birthday.' When Mr. James walked into the classroom to find them singing and signing to him, he was overcome with emotion. Grab some tissues and watch the heartwarming moment below!
