Ariana Grande has been teasing fans about the next track to be released from her upcoming album [which shares a name with its first single, thank u, next.]
Imagine will make its debut Thursday night -- and fans are convinced its about the late Mac Miller. Keep scrolling for evidence.
When asked what Imagine is all about, she had this to say:
Given that a reunion with Mac is literally [and tragically] impossible, Arianators feel that this song has to be a tribute to their love.
In a post to Instagram Stories, she explained further: "A lot of this album mourns failed yet important, beautiful relationships in my life (as well as celebrates growth/exploring new independence). But for those of you asking about imagine: i would say if 'thank u next' = acceptance...'imagine' = denial. hope that makes sense."
[It's also important to note that Miller had a tattoo on his arm that said "Imagine," a fact that has only added to speculation.]
