Kanye West fanned the flames of his on-going feud with Drake Thursday night, with a fresh string of tweets accusing the Scorpion rapper of threatening his family.
It started when someone from Kanye's team told him that Drake wanted clearance for 'Say What's Real.' [FYI: 'Say What's Real' samples West's 2008 track 'Say You Will' -- so Drake needs his permission to give SWR life in the streaming world.]
At that point, 'Ye' took to Twitter to call Drizzy out for his alleged shady behavior.
As the spectacle continued, the internet grabbed its metaphorical popcorn -- and Drake picked up the phone.
But just a few hours after Yeezy seemingly got what he wanted, he returned to his timeline to vent about Drake dissing him with his music.
[The latest example comes from a line in Travis Scott's hit, sickomode. His verse in the song features the lyrics: "Lost my respect, you not a threat" and "Checks over stripes, that’s what we like" -- which appears to refer to his and Kanye's respective partnerships with Nike and Adidas.]
Note: Travis Scott's involvement only makes this situation messier, as he's partner to Kylie Jenner [and therefore Kanye's brother in-law].
At this point, people were screaming for Kim Kardashian to take her husband's phone -- but she appears to have taken his side, tweeting Drake from her own account.
Drake's only public response came via Instagram Stories, where he sent out several laugh/crying emojis.
