Man Allegedly Offers Tennessee Teen Help if She Records Herself Being Raped

TRIGGER WARNING : This story involves incredibly disturbing elements of sexual abuse.

A Wisconsin man named Bryan Rogers is in police custody for allegedly instructing a 14-year-old Tennessee teen to record herself being raped and send him the video.

Using a myriad of online messaging apps, the girl reportedly told Rogers that her adoptive father, Randall Pruitt, was sexually abusing her -- and that her mother did not believe her. Rogers then instructed her to record herself being raped.

" And I know you don't want to do it but I don't exactly want to see your dad rape you either. But we need clear video evidence ," Rogers allegedly wrote in a chat message. In other messages, he went on to say that he could not help and risk getting in trouble without evidence of the abuse.

According to Buzzfeed News , investigators found a 7-minute long video from January 10th saved on Roger's computer. It shows an adult male raping the girl.

After receiving the tape, Rogers drove to Tennessee to pick her up and take her back to Wisconsin. She was found hiding in a closet in his home. Both Rogers and her adoptive father are facing criminal charges.
