2020 presidential candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg -- currently one of the front runners in a very crowded Democratic field -- held a campaign event at Cannery Ballroom in Nashville on Wednesday night.
I had the opportunity to speak with him beforehand, and wanted to use the opportunity to give a voice to our listeners.
We had about ten minutes, which we used to cover Tennessee's recently passed [and highly controversial] marriage law (you know, the one that inspired Woody & Jim's Big Fat All Inclusive Wedding], how he plans to reach red state voters, and his thoughts on improving public education.
