Welp, if you're wondering why #PPAB has been Trending for the last several hours, look no further than Chrissy Teigen, who clapped back at a series of Tweets from President Trump [who called her John Legend's 'filthy mouthed wife'].
The Tweet-storm tHaT StArTeD iT aLL came after Legend appeared as a guest on an MSNBC town hall about criminal justice reform. DJT was not happy that he was not given credit for his contributions on that issue during the special.
[Note: Trump signed the First Step Act -- which gives non-violent inmates a chance to shorten their sentences -- into law in December of last year. Lester Holt (who was hosting) gave him credit during an episode of Dateline that aired before the town hall, showing footage of him signing the bill in the Oval Office.]
To make his disdain clear, POTUS took shots at John, Chrissy, and Lester Holt.
...and then Chrissy responded in the only way a *foul mouthed wife* can, calling the president a p***y a** b****. Twitter had to decide if the Trend violated policy, everyone picked a side, the Internet was essentially on fire. You can see how it all played out below!
