Beloved Nashville residents Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman have donated $500K to Australian bush-fire relief efforts, according to an announcement made on Instagram. So far, a reported 13-million acres have gone up in flames -- killing half a billion animals, destroying more than 1,500 homes, and claiming the lives of 24 people.
"Our family’s support, thoughts, and prayers are with everyone affected by the fires all over Australia. We are donating $500,000 to the Rural Fire Services who are all doing and giving so much right now," Keith said in his post.
[Keith & Nicole also own a home in Australia. A representative for the couple said while it is under threat, it has not been damaged.]
