Hundreds of People Keep Quiet At Auction So Family Can Buy Their Farm Back

Prepare to have your faith in humanity restored.

There's a viral story circulating about a young man named David who lost his family's 80-acre farm when another relative sold it [to someone who didn't really give a damn]. Needless to say, the whole family was heartbroken and absolutely determined to get it back somehow.

Cut to the day that they were faced with their shot -- when the land was once again up for auction. David was understandably concerned that he'd be outbid by the other attendees, but to his amazement, 200 farmers [who knew the farm had originally belonged to his family] stood by quietly after he placed his bid, allowing him to get his home back.

The auctioneer reportedly took three breaks during the sale in an attempt to get other people to participate, but they simply refused -- so David was eventually given the winning bid.

"I've had two profoundly humbling days in my life," David said, according to Sunny Skyz. "The first was the day my son was born. The second was that unforgettable day at the auction house."
