The last time Lizzo was in Nashville, she was headlining our annual Live Life Love concert for suicide prevention -- and it goes without saying that a lot has changed in just a few short months, with the coronavirus pandemic challenging us all [and our healthcare workers more than most].
But the Grammy award winning songstress proved yesterday that she hasn't forgotten our community, as she sent lunch to the doctors and nurses fighting coronavirus at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
A representative for Lizzo confirmed that food was sent to several hospitals around the country, noting that she's planning to do the same for additional healthcare facilities in the days ahead.
Thank you to all of our healthcare heroes working tirelessly to take care of us in such a traumatic time. We love you.
