Being obsessed with Mean Girls is basically a personality trait for millennials.
So when both Rachel McAdams & Lindsay Lohan mentioned wanting to star in a sequel this week [a for real-for-real sequel, not the crap that went straight to TV a couple years ago], I screamed.
During Canada's Heroes of Health: Covid-19 Stream-a-thon, Rachel told an interviewer: "It would be fun to play Regina George later in her life and see where life took her," noting that there have been conversations about a sequel, but "nothing serious yet."
Meanwhile, Lindsay had a conversation with David Spade about how it's all really in the hands of Tina Fey and director Mark Waters.
Co-star Amanda Seyfried has also previously stated she's down for a follow-up, so I think it's officially time to get this sh** going.
