Kate Beckinsale Says Having Fun Over Age 32 Feels Like A 'Political Act'

Kate Beckinsale is not here for any of your sexist bullsh**, okay?

ICYMI, her personal life has been making headlines & getting ~*DrAGgEd*~these days, as she's recently dated men who are much younger than she is. First Pete Davidson (26) and *currently* 22-year-old singer Goody Grace. [Kate, believe it or not, is 46 years old and makes me look like a frickin' walrus at 27.]

Anyway, in the latest issue of Women's Health UK, Kate calls out the double standards women unfortunately face -- especially when it comes to relationships.

"It can feel like a little bit of a political act to be a woman over 32 who’s having any fun at all...I don’t mean doing drugs and drinking and partying, because I never am, but being goofy and going out and not going, ‘Oh my god, I’m going to sit home and anticipate menopause while crocheting.’ Unless you’re doing that, it somehow seems to be risqué, which is just ridiculous to me," she told the magazine.

"I witness men constantly doing whatever they like, whether that’s in relationships or deciding to buy a motorbike or getting a tattoo," she continued. "It hasn’t been interpreted as, ‘Is he ever going to decide to become a parent?’ or, ‘Why has he had so many girlfriends?’”

"If you’re strangling a squirrel or hurting someone, I get it, but living one’s life in a reasonably respectful manner shouldn’t invite anyone to get too excited," Beckinsale concluded.

Given this interview and her tendency to clap back at the trolls who have taken up residence in her Instagram comments, I think it's safe to say that she's going to continue doing whatever the frick she wants.

What do you think about all of this?
