Billie Eilish has officially released her powerful short film on double standards and body shaming.
Not My Responsibility was originally shown during her Where Do We Go? world tour, which was postponed in March due to the coronavirus.
“We make assumptions about people based on their size. We decide who they are. We decide what they’re worth,” she says as she removes layers of clothing in the clip. “If I wear more, if I wear less — who decides what that makes me? What that means? Is my value based only on your perception? Or is your opinion of me not my responsibility?”
Billie -- who wrote and produced the short film herself -- is being praised on social media for sharing such a profound [and necessary] message.
