Walt Disney World Announces Plan for Phased Reopening to Mixed Reactions

After being forced to close due to the coronavirus pandeic, Walt Disney World just announced their plans for a phased reopening, starting with Magic Kingdom & Animal Kingdom on July 11.

EPCOT & Hollywood Studios would open to the public a few days later on July 15. It's all still subject to the governor's approval, but Orange County did give theirs already.

The parks won't be exactly the way you remember them, though. New safety measures like temperature checks, physical distancing, contact-less payments and mobile orders at restaurants will be implemented, according to Disney World senior VP of operations Jim McPhee.

Character meet-and-greets and parades/events that draw crowds will also be temporarily suspended.

Naturally, reactions to the news have been mixed. What do you think, fam? You doing to Disney World this summer?
