Peaceful BLM Protest Planned by Teens 4 Equality in Nashville Today

A peaceful Black Lives Matter protest organized by Teens 4 Equality is planned for downtown Nashville today. It's set to begin at 4PM.

Jade Fuller and Emma Rose Smith, both 15 and from Franklin, reportedly founded the coalition with three other teenagers.

“It doesn’t matter who you are, what you look like, and what color skin you have—no matter what, you can stand together for the black community,” Smith said in an interview with WKRN. "If we don’t have our young people, which are the face of tomorrow, which are the face of the future, which are the face of people that will be running for office…then nothing is going to change.”

Full details on the event are below. I hope to see you there!
