The Tennessee Titans have been listed as one NFL team that should consider signing athlete-and-activist Colin Kaepernick, who was ousted from the league after his peaceful protests against police brutality during the national anthem.
ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler has reported that league sources believe Tennessee -- along with the Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars and Los Angeles Chargers -- is among teams best suited for the former San Francisco 49er.
Mike Sando of The Athletic has ~*ALsO*~ compiled a list of “best fits” for Kaepernick, and the Titans are categorized as one of the nine “teams that should pursue."
“Logan Woodside is backing up Ryan Tannehill. The Titans looked smart last season by signing Tannehill as insurance for Marcus Mariota. Kaepernick could provide insurance for Tannehill, who has not started a full season since 2015 and flourished last season in a run-heavy offense. Kaepernick has also flourished in run-heavy offenses and, like Tannehill, is an athletic player," Sando writes.
No word on what Colin's level of interest is, but I'd love to see it happen!
