As I never got to see Hamilton while it was on Broadway, I'm anxiously awaiting its release [featuring the original cast!] on Disney Plus. And we don't have much longer to wait, as it will be available for streaming July 3rd.
I've got nothing to compare it to, since I never saw it, but HaMiLsTaNs [is that the fandom name or have I stumbled on greatness, here?] have asked Lin if they Disney+ version will be different than what they originally fell in love with.
His answer? Just a little bit. He literally had to concede two f-bombs so that they could maintain a PG-13 rating [the HoUse Of MoUsE is very careful about that sort of thing]. LOL!
