I'm fully freaking out this morning, because Meghan Markle just released a statement about why she's voting in November's election.
While she and Prince Harry did ultimately decide to step away from their life as royals -- and have been living quietly in Los Angeles for months now -- this is still a major break with protocol. Royals usually never get involved with politics.
"I know what it's like to have a voice, and also know what it's like to feel voiceless," she said to Marie Claire. "I also know that so many men and women have put their lives on the line for us to be heard. And that opportunity, that fundamental right, is in our ability to exercise our right to vote and to make all of our voices heard."
Meghan was among 100 Top Influential Women -- including Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem and more -- who were sharing about why they'll cast their ballot in 2020's election.
